A recent article in the Detroit Free Press spreads the word about a great idea!
Operating much like ice cream vendors, trucks bearing fresh fruits and vegetables and sporting logos of MI Neighborhood Food Movers are to drive through city neighborhoods on designated routes and during assigned times.
Isn’t that lovely? This is a governor that “gets it.” Kudos to Governor Jennifer Granholm.

For real? That is too cool. Half the appeal of the “ice cream man” is the novelty, so maybe my kids could get excited about fresh fruit from the veggie man!
